Teachers will now receive email notifications for new submissions made by students. This has been a much-requested feature and will help ensure teachers have a chance to review all submissions.
What else is new?
Hourly email notifications
Between 8 am and 9 pm, DPR will send email notifications summarising any unseen submissions.
Weekly View notification bubbles
Assignments with unseen submissions will have a blue notification bubble, making it easy to see which assignments require reviewing at a glance.
Assess tab notification bubble
To help teachers quickly identify precisely which student's submission has not been seen, a blue notification bubble will appear near the relevant student's card.
Hide grade options
Schools can now opt to hide specific grade options from students; perfect for data such as exam grades. Contact your school admin to find out more information.
FAQ
How I enable email notifications?
Please refer to the "How do I enable/disable email notifications" guide.
Why are some submissions I have not seen not showing a notification bubble?
Due to DPR only starting to track which submissions have been seen since the 28th of December, any submissions made before the 28th have been automatically marked as seen.
Have there been any changes to assignment analytics?
Before December 2020, assignment feedback could be sent by both students and teachers. This created confusion, especially when generating analytics. Therefore, assignment feedback can now only be issued by teachers. Any messages/attachments by students will be considered an assignment submission.
